On August 30th, Pastor Rojas guided us through a heartfelt service as we commemorated the sacrifice of Jesus.

On Sabbath, September 6th, we held our Youth Sabbath program. Our guest speaker was Pastor Klenth Sasil, the Associate Pastor at Moreno Hills Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Moreno Valley. We are grateful to Pastor Klenth for his passion for youth and for delivering such a powerful and uplifting Sabbath message.

Today we wrapped up our sermon series, Building God’s House Together! It was a powerful Sabbath filled with reflection, discussion, and spiritual growth. Our congregation gathered in small groups, guided by faithful facilitators and panelists who helped us review key biblical principles and share feedback.

Special thanks to Brother Limerick, Dr. Zandra, Brother Humberto, and Sister Pam for your leadership and service. You helped make this day a true blessing.

As we move forward, may we continue building a church rooted in unity, love, and God’s Word—together.

This past Sabbath marked a beautiful milestone as we hosted our first annual Perris Community Camp Meeting—and what a blessing it was! The day was filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness as families and friends came together to celebrate. We kicked off the morning with a delicious pancake breakfast, followed by a hearty lunch that brought everyone around the table. Children enjoyed a variety of fun activities, including crafts, puppet shows, and interactive games that kept smiles on every face. 🎶 The air was alive with uplifting music, creating a joyful atmosphere that carried us through the day. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this event a success. Here’s to building a tradition of faith, fellowship, and fun—see you next year!

On August 3, our Children’s Ministries hosted its annual Back to School Night, providing essential school supplies to families in need. With over 30 backpacks and hundreds of items like notebooks, pencils, and calculators distributed, the event was a beautiful reminder of what community care looks like. Check out the photos below!

Dr. Akwesi Assensoh-Kodua

This past Sabbath, July 5, 2025, we celebrated the Baptism of Dr. Akwesi Assensoh–Kodua.

Akwesi Assensoh-Kodua, a Ph.D. holder in Management and Finance and former lecturer at Durban University of Technology, decided to be baptized as a public declaration of his faith in Jesus Christ, influenced by a series of meaningful encounters with the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church. His journey began when he accompanied his brother’s Adventist wife to church, followed by experiences in Israel and Cyprus where he found comfort and community in SDA households and churches. In South Africa, he consciously chose to worship with SDAs, and upon relocating to California, his marriage to an Adventist woman and the baptism of her brother-in-law further inspired him to commit to baptism. Through these experiences, Akwesi came to understand the biblical day of worship and seeks to symbolize his dedication to God’s teachings, eager to join the PCSDA faith community and grow spiritually with like-minded individuals, guided by what he sees as divine providence through Adventist connections.

Our Children’s Church meets every second Sabbath of the month at 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your children for a fun, faith-filled experience tailored just for them!

This past month, June we had our VBS 2025 “True North!” The event was a success, with 31 volunteers serving 23 children. We’re grateful to our VBS and Children’s Ministries Team for creating an amazing week filled with fun, learning, and blessings.

Our gratitude to Women’s Ministries for the great Father’s Day program! Special thanks to our speakers; Gaby, Albert, AJ, Lucas, Shani, and sisters Pam and Bertha for a timely and practical message to our Fathers!

We host food distribution events every first and third Friday of the month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Come serve or be served as we support our community’s needs. We are currently serving approximately 5,000 lbs of food to about 100 families each month. Please visit our Community Services page to find ways to you can help and support our Perris community.

Church Family, every 2nd Fridays of the month we have a special Food Pantry opening for our Church members. For more information please contact brother Duran.

Potlucks take place on the first and third Sabbaths of the month, right after the church service. Join us for some good food and fellowship. Please bring your favorite dish!

Our Prayer Warriors meet every Sabbath after the church service for a session of prayer. Join us to lift up our community in prayer. For prayer requests please contact us.

Join our Mid-Week Prayer Meeting every Wednesday at 7:00 PM via Microsoft Teams only at this time. Scan the QR code below to access the meeting.
